You matter to God and to New Life!
Wondering what New Life is like on the weekends? We've assembled answers to the most common questions. Read up to learn more about New Life, and then come be a part of our worship gatherings!
How do we worship at New Life?
We believe true, heart-felt worship should lead to an encounter with God. Worship is not a consumer event, but something for everybody in the community to participate in.
How often do we have communion and who is welcome to participate?
We serve communion several times throughout the year. All who believe that Jesus is their personal Savior are welcome to participate—regardless of whether you are a member or regular attender of New Life Church. Children are permitted to participate with parent's guidance.
How should I dress?
Our members come dressed in everything from ties to jeans. We are not looking at how people are dressed, we want our guests and members to be comfortable, so they can focus on thre real reason we're here and that's God.
What's available for my kids?
We love kids here at New Life! We have an abundance of Children's programs running throughout the year designed just for them. Kids in Children's Ministry programs learn about God's love for them every week in a vibrant way.
On our Sunday morning and Wednesday services, we have classes available for children and youth by age group.
In Painesville at our 9:30am service, they join us for worship in the main room and then are dismissed to class.
In Perry at our 11:30am service, the children go straight to class, while the teens remain in the sanctuary for worship, before being dismissed. We ask that children be registered at the information desk, pre-registration is not necessary. We will give you a tag to be used for pickup after service.
In Perry ar our 7:00pm service, everyone begins in the sanctuary for worship and then the youth and children are dismissed to classes.
As always, if you prefer, you are welcome to keep your children with you in the sanctuary.
What if my kids get noisy during the service?
Children are always welcome in the Worship Center. Should children become restless or noisy, our staff will assist you by offering snacks or things that might keep them occupied. Our pastor has children and understands that sometimes they are just having a bad day.
What if I'd like prayer?
We have a passion for prayer at New Life. There's ministry time offered during each of the weekend services with a member of our prayer team.
Tithes & Offerings
Offerings are given as an act of worship for attendees who consider New Life their home. We believe it is a blessing to give to God, and so we invite our guests to to give as God inspires them, but an offering is not expected.
