A Fresh Start

Students are taught how to learn. A student that is struggling in their school work may simply have never been taught how to learn! We teach each child how to increase their memory and build their note-taking and study skills. This builds the students confidence in their own ability. Often their testing scores begin to increase immediately.

Students who have been labeled with learning disabilities or attention disorders can thrive in our learning environment. While these difficulties present some significant challenges, our focus on the individual gives our students the advantage to succeed. Any child with love and proper instruction can grow to love God, find success in life and fulfill Gods will for their life!

We begin every student with a series of tests to show where they are at in their academic journey.

Students who show areas of weakness we map a plan to re-teach those concepts. Imagine a brick wall being built. Along the way, a block here and there was left out. Eventually the strength of the structure would be compromised. The same thing can happen with the building blocks of education. We begin by filling in these learning gaps to create a strong foundation for continued learning!

Students work at their academic level.

Our goal is to prescribe our students curriculum

at a level where they will best perform. When

the carrot is too far out in front of a student,

they generally will become discouraged

and quit trying. When the carrot is too

attainable, the student will become

disinterested and sometimes their

grades will begin to suffer. We work

to find that place where the student

is appropriately challenged

and feels rewarded

from their efforts.
